The Waterfront at 4-H CampThe American Red Cross guides our staff in providing the following activities... Whether your a beginning swimmer or advanced swimmer, 4-H Camp offers you the opportunity to improve your aquatic
skills. Lessons for non swimmers, water activities and games designed to strengthen swimming skills of all participants will
be offered. Campers are also offered the
opportunity to swim during free swim, which is
offered every
4-H Camp offers this challenging course where campers will learn the
difference between a tiller and jib. The sailors will learn the components of the
sailboats, how to handle the boats and safety. While learning the basics of sailing, the
campers will sail on the beautiful Sacandaga Lake. Participants must be 12 years old, at
least 90 lbs., and be comfortable in deep water. Participation will be dependent upon the
child's swimming ability. Swimming ability will be tested at camp on Sunday after
registration. There is an additional fee for this
