The Staff at 4-H Camp Sacandaga 4-H Camp Sacandaga staff and counselors have been selected based on their
background, experience training and interest in children. They have each completed a
comprehensive one week training session in their course area as well as in counseling. The
health and welfare of the campers is a primary consideration, therefore, issues such as
contagious diseases, child abuse, homesickness and specific safety concerns are an
integral part of
the educational program for staff and counselors. Many of our staff are also trained in
First Aid and CPR.
