Special Themes
During the course of the summer, 4-H Camp Sacandaga will be presenting
"theme" courses. These courses are designed to offer children opportunities to
try new things and to experience different cultural and historical aspects of the
Adirondack's. Themes are in addition to normal camp activities. Campers can sign up for
special events and classes that are only offered during these weeks. "Friends Around The World"During this week children will explore a variety of international cultures including their customs, crafts and traditions. Teams of campers will represent different nations in a camp Olympics event. "Environmental Stewardship"Explore the constant balance of nature in the Adirondacks. Campers will participate in
special Environmental " Behind the Blue Line"
