4-H Camp Sacandaga offers a number of activities for campers to participate in a group atmosphere. Below is a list of different options for campers to chose from when they come to camp.
Click here to learn more about the classes we offer in each of our program areas. Our Aquatics classes teach children water skills in Sailing, Canoeing and Swimming . Environmental and Outdoor Education classes teach campers about hiking, camping and environmental topics. Creative Arts allows children to experience many creative aspects of the arts. And our Archery program strengthens campers skills with the safe use of bows.
The CIT program is available for our older campers. This leadership program's goal is to prepare teens for employment, give experience as camp counselors, provide leadership training, and develop basic skills useful in any job situation.
Campers daily participate in many "all camp" programs . By clicking on this link, you will see a number of activities the campers will be participating in during afternoon and evening activities.
4-H Camp also offers opportunities for 'non - traditional' campers to attend our camp. We offer a cloverbud overnight experience for younger campers and parents. Between sessions One and Two, and Three and Four, we provide a weekend stay over program. We also offer two exciting out of camp backpacking trips.
